Sunday 23rd February at 7pm UK GMT Goals of the long run include fat-burning, building bones, strengthening tendons, mitochondrial biogenesis, increased circulatory networks and establishing a feeling-base. We’ll look at coaching guidelines for optimizing the long run for track to ultra runners, youth to seniors and discuss scenarios for how often, what pace, and how far in each phase of the pyramid.
